Unconventional Approach
Sterling Oil is renowned for its exemplary project management capabilities, earning a reputation for delivering projects significantly ahead of schedule. Our commitment to innovation and efficiency is evident in our unconventional approaches, such as our pioneering use of CNG self-propelled barges for crude oil transportation over a round-trip distance of 540 kilometers. This breakthrough not only displaces diesel by utilizing associated gas from our oil fields but also helps prevent flaring, reflecting our dedication to environmental sustainability.
Over the past 13 years, we have achieved remarkable success in minimizing operational losses, maintaining them below 0.3%. This is a significant achievement compared to the 20% to 30% losses typically experienced by other operators due to vandalism along conventional pipeline routes. Our proactive strategies and innovative solutions have also extended to various operational facets, including drilling, seismic acquisition, community relations, and CSR initiatives.
